Cardiac Rehabilitation
Recovering from a cardiac event or illness takes time and special care. It can be an extended process that requires every bit of the expert care you received during the acute phase of your condition. At CHCS, our cardiac care includes cardiac rehabilitation, a medically supervised program for people who have had a heart attack, heart failure, heart valve surgery, coronary artery bypass grafting, and angioplasty with or without stent placement.
Overall Goals of Cardiac Rehabilitation:
Improve health and quality of life
Reduce the need for visits to the hospital or emergency room
Reduce the potential for future heart problems
Assist participants in choosing healthier lifestyles
