Spiritual Care
At CHCS, we believe that faith plays an integral role in the health and well-being of our patients and their families. We open our doors to the clergy of each patient’s personal faith to everyone entrusted to our care.
Services clergy typically provide include:
Blessings
Catholic sacraments
Communion
Emergency baptism
Emotional and spiritual support
Ethical consultations, including advance directives and end of life issues
Last rites
A prayer chapel is available at Community Hospital Onaga, providing a peaceful setting for meditation and prayer. St. Marys Manor, Eastridge Skilled Nursing Facility, and Redbud Assisted Living also have spaces designated for religious services or visits with clergy.
