CHCS provides a number of specialty clinics each month in our Onaga, Holton, and St. Marys locations. Dr. John P. Devine, urologist, is our October Specialty Clinic Provider of the month.
Dr. Devine provides general urology care for adults and children in Onaga two days each month. Dr. Devine assists patients in managing diseases of the urinary tract, including the kidneys and adrenal glands, bladder, ureters, the prostate in men, and more. He manages all aspects of urologic care, including prescribing medications and performing surgical procedures when necessary.
Dr. Devine practices with Associated Urologists based in Manhattan. He likes working with Community HealthCare System patients because they are “good people who appreciate our care.” He says he likes his specialty because he s is able to “help people with serious and acute problems.”
Dr. Devine noted that the best things people can do to improve their urological health is to drink lots of water.
Dr. Devine received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed an internship at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri, and his residency at University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, Kansas. Dr. Devine is a fellow of the American Board of Urology.
