Community HealthCare System (CHCS) has announced that Karl Haake, MD, a board-certified pain management physician specializing in back, neck, and joint pain as well as migraine relief, is joining the CHCS specialty provider team. With nearly 15 years of experience in pain management, Dr. Haake brings expertise that enables CHCS to offer comprehensive pain management services to patients in northeast Kansas.

Currently many of our patients must travel a great distance to receive interventional pain management services. With the addition of Dr. Haake to our team, we are looking forward to offering these services closer to home, within our communities and allowing for better and more efficient access to care.”
After earning his medical degree from The Creighton University School of Medicine, Dr.Haake completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Dr. Haake is a licensed physician in 6 states and has many years consulting experience and has served on several state and national task forces on pain management best practices and opioid prescribing.
Dr. Haake specializes in chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, back pain and post-surgical discomfort. He offers a wide-range of pain management options to treat upper and lower back pain, neck pain, migraines, and joint pain (in the hip, knee, shoulder, wrist, elbow, or ankle).
