Community HealthCare System provides a variety of high-quality treatment options to help heal complex wounds such as diabetic ulcers, lower leg ulcers, pressure ulcers (bed sores), bone infections, gangrene, skin tears or lacerations, radiation burns, and post-operation wounds and infections.
Although most wounds heal with minimal intervention, some have a variety of causes that require a comprehensive approach to treatment and prevention of reoccurrence.
At CHCS, wound care services are provided by a compassionate team of physicians, nurses and technicians with leading-edge training in therapies for difficult-to-heal wounds. This advanced wound care helps enhance your quality of life and reduces costs by promoting faster healing and reducing treatment time.
CHCS also offers wound care as an outpatient program, allowing patients the convenience of healing their wounds through weekly visits with providers and wound specialists. Therapies provided are usually covered by Medicare, Medicaid and other third-party insurance carriers.
