Community HealthCare System invites the public to attend retirement receptions for lead nurses from Onaga Clinic and Centralia Clinic.

- Pat Flentie, LPN and lead nurse from Onaga Clinic (at right in photo, above), has worked at CHCS for 45 years. A reception will be held in her honor and open to the public on Wednesday, June 30 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Onaga Community Hospital Lobby. Remarks at 2:15.
Both nurses have provided the best possible to care for patients and navigated many changes throughout their careers. They both put patients first while managing the many tasks of a lead nurse, from coordinating staffing to ordering supplies and attending meetings.
“Our lead nurses keep everything running smoothly, and Pat and Peggy leave big shoes to fill. They will be deeply missed, but both have earned long and happy retirements,” said Merica Surdez, Chief of Provider and Clinic Operations.
“We hope our patients and communities will come and help us wish Pat and Peggy well,” Surdez said.
