Community Healthcare System’s HomeHealth agency is proud to announce it was named a 2024 HHCAHPS Honor recipient by MatrixCare, a leading provider of CAHPS surveys, advanced analytics and other services for home health agencies. This prestigious program recognizes agencies that excel in delivering positive patient experiences and high-quality care as measured by the Home Health Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HHCAHPS) satisfaction scores.
To receive the HHCAHPS Honors designation, Community HomeHealth was evaluated based on the Willingness to Recommend question as a qualifier followed by 18 other publicly reported measures for the period of April 2023 through March 2024. Community HomeHealh exceeded the National Average on 85% or more of the evaluated questions.
Andrea Lutz, Director of Ancillary Services at CHCS, credits all HomeHealth staff from nurses, to therapists, to aides and support staff, who work diligently to provide outstanding care at every level. She said, “Being named a 2024 HHCAHPS Honors awardee is an outstanding achievement for our agency and a true testament to the compassionate and exceptional care our associates provide daily. I could not be more-proud for our team.”
“Our staff of skilled nurses, aides and physical, occupational and speech therapists continue to implement improved procedures and additional patient education. These changes have directly contributed to us earning this award,” said Kristi Hutfles, Manager of Community Homehealth. “Our team has built a solid reputation of providing outstanding care and developing an excellent rapport with our patients. Each team member is dedicated to helping our patients meet and maintain their goal of independence at home,” Hutfles said.
