Community HealthCare System has recognized Meranda Schmitz, RN and Cardiopulmonary Rehab nurse, with the spring 2023 DAISY Award for extraordinary nursing. She was nominated by a patient who deeply appreciated her care.

Community HealthCare System invites patients and community members to visit Onaga Community Hospital on Thursday, April 6 for an Open House in the new Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and Community Home Care Equipment space. The area was recently remodeled, and visitors will be welcomed from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. to learn more about available services, meet staff, and enjoy refreshments.

A renovation project in Onaga Community Hospital is now complete, so locations, hours, and availability of some services are changing.
Effective February 7, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation will be relocated from the Fitness Center to the area that formerly housed the Community Home Care Equipment store. Patients will receive instructions on how to find the new location, and permanent signage will soon be installed.
